πŸ“’ NTA extended Online NEET (UG)-2020 Application Form for Correction in Candidate Particulars and Centre Cities

In the reference of many requests being received from aspirants and parents of candidates for correction in NEET (UG)- 2020, On dated - 14th April 2020, the NTA has extended the date of making corrections in the Application Form including choice of cities for centre in the Online Application Form NEET UG 2020 up to 3rd May 2020. 

Aspirant can verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required in NEET online application form available on the website ntaneet.nic.in till 5:00 pm and The additional fee (if applicable) can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/ PAYTM upto 11.50 PM of 3rd May 2020 The final updates will be reflected after the payment only (in case, additional fee payment is required for correction facility) 

The NTA will make efforts to allot city of examination to the candidates in order of their choices now opted by them in the application form and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre shall be final.

πŸ“’ WHO Launched Health Alert Chatbot in Messenger for COVID-19 Pandemic

WHO Health Alert Chatbot in Messenger 

To aware and provide better & accurate inform to the world about COVID-19, the WHO(World Health Organization) has launched a Facebook Messenger version of its WHO Health Alert platform. This Health Alert interactive service serves immediate and correct information regarding COVID-19 with the help of Universal platform - Facebook.


From the WHO’s Official Facebook Page , you can be accessed The WHO’s Health Chatbot service.You can also simply click on the Messenger icon available on the page. Here, users can click on the “Send Message” button and the chatbot will open up on Messenger or through the dedicated Messenger link.

 The WHO COVID-19 chatbot is available in the three languages - English, Spanish and Arabic. Very soon It will be available in more languages.

WHO has already share Health Alert service via WhatsApp to 12+ Million peoples in public interest. 


In many regions hit hardest by COVID-19, total messaging through Facebook’s family of apps has increased by more than 50%. With this transition into Facebook Messenger, and other communication channels related to it, WHO Health Alert has the potential to reach 4.2 billion people – helping people protect themselves from COVID-19, prevent its spread, and understand the facts related to the disease.

Similar to how the chatbot works on WhatsApp, users will be presented with a series of options like the latest numbers, Mythbusters, travel advice and more. Users have to reply with the number allotted for the query and receive updates on the same. The latest WHO chatbot is among a bunch of COVID-19 chatbots launched by the government and health agencies.

The chatbot was developed in collaboration with Sprinklr, as a part of the WHO Technology for COVID-19 Initiative, a pro-bono collaboration of technology companies brought together by WHO specifically to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.


The WHO Health Alert was developed in partnership with Praekelt.Org, using Turn machine learning technology.

πŸ“’ Postponed NEET 2020 : NEET syllabus has not changed, Fake notice is getting viral - NTA Announced



NEET 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it clear that there is no change in the syllabus for NEET UG examination. The NTA has issued a notice on its website following the news of the ongoing changes on social media. Accordingly, there is no change in syllabus for the students preparing for NEET 2020. Students should not be misled by fake messages getting viral on social media. The notice states that students follow ntaneet.nic.in for updates. MBBS, BDS, BAMS & NBYS courses run in medical colleges across the country are admitted through this entrance examination.


Apart from this, NTA has reopened the corrections option in the NEET application. Candidates can make Correction in their application form till 14 April. NEET 2020 Admit Card New Date will be released after April 15 on reviewing the situation.

NEET-2020 Exam has been Postponed


Due to the corona virus epidemic and lock-down in the country, the NTA has postponed the Medical Entrance Examination NEET (NEET). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was scheduled to be held on 3rd May 2020. The NTA has issued a notice that NEET Admit Card 2020 will now be issued only after April 15 on reviewing the situation.
The notice issued by the NTA stated, 'In view of the difficulties faced by students and parents due to the corona virus epidemic, the National Testing Agency has postponed the NEET (UG) examination 2020 to be held on May 3, 2020. At present the conduct of NEET examination is now proposed in the last week of May. The fixed date will be announced after reviewing the situation. The admit cards which were earlier to be issued on March 27, will now be issued after April 15 after reviewing the situation. 

The NTA said, "We fully understand that the academic calendar and schedule are necessary but it is also important that all the citizens of the country, including the students, be healthy. We hope that parents and students will not worry about the exam. Parents are urged to ensure that students use this time for exam preparation. In this time, students strengthen their preparation by focusing on complex topics. Students stay connected with the official websites ntaneet.nic.in and nta.ac.in for further updates. '

NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY - NTA


National Testing Agency (NTA) came into existence in 2017 by the Central Government to conduct entrance examination for admission/ fellowship in higher educational institutions. NTA is an government organization which approved by the Union Council of Ministers. NTA established by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) & GOI (Government of India) in the year of 2017, under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.



NTA is an independent, Autonomous and Self-Sustained Premier Testing Organization. Dr. Vineet Joshi is the first Director-General of NTA appointed by Government of India.



Role of National Testing Agency : -


The NTA is committed to direct all such matter dealing the best in every field, from test preparation, to test delivery and to test marking.


Responsibility of NTA in Medical Entrance Test :- 


NTA conduct NEET-UG (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test), from 2019 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) till 2018,for medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BNYS programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to the conduct of counselling for 15% of All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities. NEET UG also replaces AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi) MBBS and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Government of India). Thus NEET 2020 is the only medical entrance examination to apply for medical courses in the country (India).

Responsibility of NTA in Engineering Entrance Test :- 


NTA conduct JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) twice in a year, from 2019 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education), to take admissions into the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) for engineering courses such as B.Tech/BE/B Arch/B planning programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the All India Rank to Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to the conduct of counselling for 50% of All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to NITs/ IIITs/ CFTIs/ SFIs/ Others to prepare their own ranking.

Responsibility of NTA in Management Entrance Test :- 


NTA conduct CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) in the month of  January of every year, from 2019 onward which was being conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), to take admissions into management courses such as MBA / PGDM programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the Rank and result to All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges which accepted the CMAT score ,to prepare their own ranking.

Responsibility of NTA in Pharmacy Entrance Test :- 


NTA conduct GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test), from 2019 onward which was being conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), to take admissions into M.Pharm (Master's in Pharmacy) program. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the score to All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges which accepted the GPAT score to prepare their own ranking.

Responsibility of NTA in College/University Teaching & Fellowship Exam :- 


NTA conduct UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test), from Dec 2018 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) in 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of spread across the country, to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges.
