📢 NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registration, Correction Window (Reopened): Check Last Date & Process

NTA has reopened the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration process on October 21 and the last date of completing the process is October 26, 11.50 pm. The NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration process had started on October 1 and ended on October 13.   “On receiving numerous requests from the candidates, the National Testing Agency is opening the window for filling up of the Second set of Information particulars of the First and Second Phase of Online Application Form for NEET (UG) 2021,” NTA has stated in the official notification indicating the reopening of the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration process and correction window.

This facility is also available for Candidates who have done one-time corrections in these particular fields earlier.

According to the information bulletin of NEET 2021, the NEET 2021 application process is divided into two phases. While the first phase of the NEET 2021 application process ended on August 10 and the NEET 2021 application fee payment process concluded on August 15 (11.50 pm). 

How to use the NEET correction window 2021?        

The procedure to edit or make changes in the NEET 2021 application form are as follows:

• Go to the official website of NTA NEET (neet.nta.nic.in) or visit the URL - https://testservices.nic.in/NEET2021/Root/home.aspx?appFormId=101042111
• Login using the application number and password
• Click on “Click here for correction in NEET 2021 Application Form”
• The filled application form of NEET 2021 will be displayed on the screen and candidates can edit the fields.
• Click on 'Preview and Submit'
• An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
• Enter the OTP in the space provided
• Click on 'Final Submit'
• A warning pops up on the screen
• If you are satisfied with the corrections made, click on 'Please do'
• The correction slip of the NEET 2021 application form will be displayed on the screen
• Save and print the correction slip for future reference.

The following details are permissible for editing or changing in the NEET 2021 application correction facility:

• Personal Details - Name, date of birth, parents' name, gender, identity card details, place of birth
• Address: Permanent or correspondence address

• Exam City Preference: The order of preference of chosen exam cities can be changed or cities can be replaced or changed  
• Image Upload: In case the file size or format of photographs uploaded on the NEET 2021 application form is considered incorrect by NTA, they would have to upload the correct or rectified files

A: Yes, NTA had postponed the NEET 2021 application deadline from August 6 to August 10 to enable aspirants planning to pursue BSc (Hons.) Nursing courses through NEET, to apply for the exam. The application fee had to be paid by August 10, 11.50 pm. The fee payment process was reopened on August 13 and the last date was August 15 (11.50 pm).

Q. I made a mistake in the email ID while registering for NEET 2021. What can I do?

A. If you have completed the NTA NEET 2021 application form with an incorrect email address, you will not receive the email notifications. However, if the mobile number that you have registered on the NTA portal is correct, you will receive the same notification on your phone. These details cannot be changed in the application correction window. Candidates who had submitted the wrong email id or mobile number during the registration process would have to register again.  

Q. When submitting the application form for NEET 2021, the session expires before I submit it. What should I do?

A. Candidates filling the NEET 2021 application form must try to fill and submit it within 30 minutes of logging into the registered account. Also, save each portion of the application form so as to avoid filling it again if the session expires. To ensure completing the form in under 30 minutes, keep all the information handy. 

Q. Can I fill the application form for NEET 2021 without the internet?

A. Candidates without access to the internet could visit the nearest Common Services Centre (CSC). The CSCs helped in filling the application form for NEET 2021 and payment of the application fee. 🔔 NEET COUNSELLING PROCESS - 5 Points to know

NEET result 2021 will be used for admission to undergraduate medical seats of all India quota (AIQ) and state quota. Here are five things to know about the counselling process.

NEET 2021: Result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) UG 2021 will be announced soon. The entrance exam was conducted on September 12 at test centres across the country and abroad. Soon, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin NEET phase 2 registration, release answer key along with question papers and candidates’ response sheets and after that NEET 2021 results will be announced.

NEET result 2021 will be used for admission to undergraduate medical seats of all India quota (AIQ) and state quota. Here are five things to know about the counselling process.

1. NEET 2021 counselling is conducted separately for 15% AIQ and 85% state quota seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for counselling of the centrally-funded institutions and seats in state-run institutions surrendered towards the 15% AIQ. MCC’s official website is mcc.nic.in. Counselling for state quota seats is different for different states.

2. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee(AACCC) conducts NEET counselling for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS seats under the AIQ. These include seats in government, government-aided, deemed universities, central universities, national institutes and internal seats of Delhi University. AYUSH counselling official website is aaccc.gov.in. States have their own counselling process for the 85% seats.

3. BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences are two new courses that will use NEET course for admissions from this year onwards.The NTA had earlier released a notification, mentioning eligibility criteria for admission to these courses.

4. NEET AIQ counselling for BVSc and AH courses will be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). This is applicable in case of all Veterinary colleges in India, except for those in Jammu and Kashmir. The official website for VCI counselling is vcicounseling.nic.in.

5. In various states the state Counseling will be conducted by local governing body. For example- In Maharashtra, for instance, the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET cell) , in Karnataka Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA),  in Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education (DME) will,  conduct NEET 2021 counselling for state quota seats.

📢 NEET UG Counselling 2020 to begin today 28 Oct 2020, check details

NEET UG Counselling 2020 for the current academic year 2020-21 which was scheduled to begin from October 27, 2020, has been postponed to Wednesday i.e. October 28. As per the latest notification updated on the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), the NEET UG Counselling 2020 has been postponed till October 28 due to some technical reasons. All candidates are advised to stay in touch with the MCC website for latest updates.

The candidates who wish to apply for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India are advised to visit the official website of the MCC - mcc.nic.in - to register for the NEET UG 2020 counselling process.

As per the NEET UG 2020 counselling schedule released by the MCC, the registration, payment, and choice filling for Round 1 will begin on October 27 and the last date to register is November 2. Candidates can fill in their choices from October 28 and choice locking has to be done on November 2 (between 4.00 pm to 11.59 pm). Processing of seat allotment for Round 1 will be held from November 3 to 4 and the Round 1 allotment result will be released on November 5. Candidates who get allocated need to report between November 6 to 12, 2020.

📢 NTA extended Online NEET (UG)-2020 Application Form for Correction in Candidate Particulars and Centre Cities

In the reference of many requests being received from aspirants and parents of candidates for correction in NEET (UG)- 2020, On dated - 14th April 2020, the NTA has extended the date of making corrections in the Application Form including choice of cities for centre in the Online Application Form NEET UG 2020 up to 3rd May 2020. 

Aspirant can verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required in NEET online application form available on the website ntaneet.nic.in till 5:00 pm and The additional fee (if applicable) can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/ PAYTM upto 11.50 PM of 3rd May 2020 The final updates will be reflected after the payment only (in case, additional fee payment is required for correction facility)

📢 Postponed NEET 2020 : NEET syllabus has not changed, Fake notice is getting viral - NTA Announced

NEET 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it clear that there is no change in the syllabus for NEET UG examination. The NTA has issued a notice on its website following the news of the ongoing changes on social media. Accordingly, there is no change in syllabus for the students preparing for NEET 2020. Students should not be misled by fake messages getting viral on social media. The notice states that students follow ntaneet.nic.in for updates. MBBS, BDS, BAMS & NBYS courses run in medical colleges across the country are admitted through this entrance examination.

Apart from this, NTA has reopened the corrections option in the NEET application. Candidates can make Correction in their application form till 14 April. NEET 2020 Admit Card New Date will be released after April 15 on reviewing the situation.

NEET-2020 Exam has been Postponed

Due to the corona virus epidemic and lock-down in the country, the NTA has postponed the Medical Entrance Examination NEET (NEET). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was scheduled to be held on 3rd May 2020. The NTA has issued a notice that NEET Admit Card 2020 will now be issued only after April 15 on reviewing the situation.

The notice issued by the NTA stated, 'In view of the difficulties faced by students and parents due to the corona virus epidemic, the National Testing Agency has postponed the NEET (UG) examination 2020 to be held on May 3, 2020. At present the conduct of NEET examination is now proposed in the last week of May. The fixed date will be announced after reviewing the situation. The admit cards which were earlier to be issued on March 27, will now be issued after April 15 after reviewing the situation. 

The NTA said, "We fully understand that the academic calendar and schedule are necessary but it is also important that all the citizens of the country, including the students, be healthy. We hope that parents and students will not worry about the exam. Parents are urged to ensure that students use this time for exam preparation. NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY - NTA

National Testing Agency (NTA) came into existence in 2017 by the Central Government to conduct entrance examination for admission/ fellowship in higher educational institutions. NTA is an government organization which approved by the Union Council of Ministers. NTA established by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) & GOI (Government of India) in the year of 2017, under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

Responsibility of NTA in Medical Entrance Test :- 

NTA conduct NEET-UG (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test), from 2019 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) till 2018,for medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BNYS programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to the conduct of counselling for 15% of All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities. NEET UG also replaces AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi) MBBS and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Government of India). Thus NEET 2020 is the only medical entrance examination to apply for medical courses in the country (India).

Responsibility of NTA in Engineering Entrance Test :- 

NTA conduct JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) twice in a year, from 2019 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education), to take admissions into the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) for engineering courses such as B.Tech/BE/B Arch/B planning programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the All India Rank to Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to the conduct of counselling for 50% of All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to NITs/ IIITs/ CFTIs/ SFIs/ Others to prepare their own ranking.

NTA conduct CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) in the month of  January of every year, from 2019 onward which was being conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), to take admissions into management courses such as MBA / PGDM programs. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the Rank and result to All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges which accepted the CMAT score ,to prepare their own ranking.

Responsibility of NTA in Pharmacy Entrance Test :- 

NTA conduct GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test), from 2019 onward which was being conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), to take admissions into M.Pharm (Master's in Pharmacy) program. NTA declare the NEET results and provide the score to All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges which accepted the GPAT score to prepare their own ranking.

NTA conduct UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test), from Dec 2018 onward which was being conducted by CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) in 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of spread across the country, to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges.
