AYUSH UG Admissions: The Counselling Process AACCC MBBS BAMS BDS BHMS BNYS

All the candidates who register for the counselling of AYUSH UG courses online will be eligible to participate in the first round of counselling. Selected candidates will have to choose whether they want to continue with the seat allotted to them or opt for upgradation. The options available for such candidates are:

Option 1: Candidate chooses to continue with the seat allotted and does not wish to participate in the next round of counselling

Option 2: Candidate chooses to continue with the seat allotted but wishes to upgrade in the next round

Option 3: Candidate chooses to resign from the seat allotted but wants to participate in the next round

Option 4: Candidate chooses to resign from the seat allotted and wants to exit the counselling process

Candidates who have chosen option 2 or 3 will have to fill in the choices for the next round. Candidates who have chosen the option 1 will have to report to the allotted institute before the last date. Failing to report before in the allotted time will lead to cancellation of their admission. They will also not be eligible to participate in the next rounds.

Seats left vacant after the second round of AYUSH counselling:

Government/Government-aided seats left vacant after the second round will be transferred to the respective states. They will become a part of the seat matrix for the counselling of the respective state.

Private/National/Deemed seats will be filled by conducting a mop-up round. Fresh registrations will be accepted for this round. If any seats are left vacant after the mop-up round, these will be transferred to the respective institute for a stray round of counselling.

πŸ“’ NEET UG Counselling 2020 to begin today 28 Oct 2020, check details

NEET UG Counselling 2020 for the current academic year 2020-21 which was scheduled to begin from October 27, 2020, has been postponed to Wednesday i.e. October 28. As per the latest notification updated on the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), the NEET UG Counselling 2020 has been postponed till October 28 due to some technical reasons. All candidates are advised to stay in touch with the MCC website for latest updates.


The candidates who wish to apply for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India are advised to visit the official website of the MCC - mcc.nic.in - to register for the NEET UG 2020 counselling process.

As per the NEET UG 2020 counselling schedule released by the MCC, the registration, payment, and choice filling for Round 1 will begin on October 27 and the last date to register is November 2. Candidates can fill in their choices from October 28 and choice locking has to be done on November 2 (between 4.00 pm to 11.59 pm). Processing of seat allotment for Round 1 will be held from November 3 to 4 and the Round 1 allotment result will be released on November 5. Candidates who get allocated need to report between November 6 to 12, 2020.

A candidate can submit NEET-UG Counselling, 2020 application/registration form only once. Any candidate found to have submitted more than one application/registration form for NEET-UG Counselling, 2020 will be debarred from NEET-UG Counselling allotment process, his/her candidature will be cancelled and further action as deemed appropriate by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW shall be taken.

πŸ“’ NTA Announced NEET 2020 Result on October 16, NEET 2020 Special exam on October 14

The National Testing Agency (NTA) to be announced on October 16. The NEET Results 2020 will be made available for students through an activated link on the NTA’s official website ntaneet.nic.in along with the final answer key and NEET cut-off. 
After the declaration of NEET 2020 result, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET counselling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Reservation for the 85% seat quota seats is subject to policies of each state. 


The NEET 2020 was held on September 13, 2020, after delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and saw turn out of around 85-90% of the 15.97 lakh registered candidates. 

Meanwhile, those who missed out on the exam due to positive COVID test, will be allowed to attempt the exam at a later date (not yet announced).
